Spiced Apple Cider


1 quart apple cider
2 sticks of cinnamon
6 whole cloves
6 berries of whole allspice
cheesecloth & string or tea strainer
4 slices of a seedless orange (optional)


1. Pour apple cider into large saucepan. Add cinnamon sticks.

2. Put cloves and allspice into tea strainer or into cheesecloth and tie with string. Add to cider.

3. Heat on low until it is the temperature you want.  Float orange slices on top of cider as it warms for a little extra zing (optional).

4. Enjoy!
